Job Overview:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the California Post Acute team. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for residents who are recovering from illness, healing from surgery or injury, or managing chronic conditions. You will work closely with the nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to make sure that every patient receives care that is personalized and tailored to their needs. Responsibilities:
As an Registered Nurse at California Post Acute, you will oversee the overall care of residents. This includes conducting assessments, creating care plans, administering medications, and performing treatments as prescribed by physicians. You will monitor each patient’s progress and update medical records. It is your responsibility to ensure that residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Collaboration with physical therapists, social workers, and nursing assistants is key to maintaining the highest level of care. You will occasionally educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and the rehabilitation process so that they can make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
You must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to apply to this position. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care are essential. Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is beneficial. In addition, experience in wound care, medication management, and care coordination is also beneficial. You should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively and remain calm during stressful situations.
